My Approach

Whole food, plant-based nutrition for all.

I don’t want to make your eyes glaze over with a bunch of numbers, but let me run a few stats by you that are pretty mind boggling. (Data pulled directly from the Dietary Guidelines for Americans and the 2022 CDC survey):

  • Heart disease is the leading cause of death.

  • 74% of adults are overweight or have obesity.

  • 11% of Americans have type 1 or type 2 diabetes, and even more concerning: 35% of American adults have pre-diabetes

In the golden age of endless information right at our fingertips, how are we this sick? Well, let me share a few more stats with you:

  • 97% of Americans don’t meet the minimum daily recommendations for fiber intake. So, just about all of us.

  • Only 10% of adults in the US meet the recommended daily serving of vegetables.

And therein lies the problem. And through all the confusing and conflicting nutritional advice out there, only one dietary pattern has consistently shown to prevent and reverse the progression of many deadly diseases, such as heart disease and type 2 diabetes. It’s a diet so simple and accessible it’s almost laughable:

A WHOLE FOOD, PLANT FORWARD DIET.

A whole food plant-based (WFPB) diet is a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts, and seeds. It’s eating real food and learning to trust your body again. No calorie counting. No counting macros. No tedious food logging. So whether you’re simply wanting to add more plant foods into your current diet or you’re looking for a complete lifestyle overhaul, I’m here for it. Seriously. I will meet you where you are, and we will go from there. This is your life, you get to decide what you put into your body, not me! So let’s get started.
